Residential Nurse:

The Residential Nurse (LPN) will assess clients, work with unit staff, and administer prescriptions. We have part-time and PRN positions available.

Primary duties:

Assist in coordinating residential youth care. Complete initial assessments Will administer medications, precautions monitoring, and pain reassessments. Complete all required clinical documentation Is sensitive to the interrelationships of both people and functions within the department. Will follow Meaningful Use measures. May also be required to provide injections, test blood glucose and/or draw blood for lab tests. Interacts directly with clients and families. Interacts frequently with physicians, and other center employees involved in the case. Will work interdependently with other health care professionals to provide quality health care to clients.

Minimum Hiring Requirements:

Current Indiana LPN license Two years of post-degree psychiatric experience in a similar position preferred
