Job Description

About us Willows of New Castle is dedicated to constructing and maintaining a progressive team approach to long term care based on communication, integrity and visible results. At Willows of New Castle, we are always looking for new ways to create a comfortable and homelike environment for our residents because their well-being and happiness is our number one priority.
Duties:
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate and implement patient care plans.
  • Document resident information and maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems like PointClickCare.
  • Educate residents and their families on healthcare prcedures,medications, and self-care techniques.
  • Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
  • Maintain infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases.
Skills:
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical procedures and treatments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
  • Knowledge of electronic health record systems like Athenahealth is a plus.
  • Experience in providing specialized care for patients with dementia or cognitive impairments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with esthetic laser treatments is a plus.
This position offers competitive compensation and benefits packages. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality resident care.   • 6:00-2:30 2nd shift is 2:00-10:30pm 3rd shift is 10:00pm-6:30am
