Job Description
Overview We are seeking dedicated and compassionate RN (Registered Nurse) and LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) professionals to join our healthcare team, offering a generous sign-on bonus to qualified candidates. This role provides an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care across diverse settings, including acute care, long-term care, assisted living, and community health environments. The ideal candidates will possess a strong clinical background, excellent assessment skills, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes through comprehensive nursing practices. This position emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and adherence to healthcare standards while fostering a supportive environment for both patients and staff. $10,000.00 Sign On Bonus for full-time position. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Administer medications via injections, IV infusions, catheterizations, and other methods in accordance with physician orders and safety protocols. Provide specialized care for patients with complex needs such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, or memory impairments within memory care or hospice settings. Manage acute pain through appropriate interventions and monitor patient responses to treatment plans. Assist with diagnostic evaluations including specimen collection, processing, and interpretation of results in collaboration with medical teams. Support patients during procedures like spinal taps or cardiac catheterizations while ensuring sterile techniques and patient comfort. Educate patients and their families on health coaching topics such as medication management, nutrition, discharge planning, and chronic disease management. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by accurately documenting all patient interactions and medical records while ensuring confidentiality at all times. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across various specialties including emergency medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, internal medicine, and behavioral health to optimize patient care outcomes. Utilize advanced skills such as ventilator management, tube feeding administration, wound suturing, or sterile processing when applicable. Experience Proven clinical experience in diverse healthcare environments such as hospital medicine units—including Level I Trauma Centers—or outpatient clinics. Critical care experience in ICU or PICU settings is highly valued for managing complex cases involving acute trauma or infectious diseases. Prior work with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks demonstrating proficiency in medical documentation and coding (ICD-9/ICD-10). Experience providing long-term or post-acute care in nursing homes or assisted living facilities with a focus on dementia or Alzheimer's care is preferred. Background in emergency room procedures or urgent care settings that require rapid assessment skills and triage capabilities. Knowledge of physiology principles related to patient assessment and diagnostic evaluation enhances quality of care delivery. Familiarity with specialized procedures such as phlebotomy, venipuncture, catheter care, or sterile technique is advantageous. Ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages—including children with developmental disabilities—and adapt communication accordingly. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and other relevant credentials are required; additional certifications like ACLS or PALS are a plus.
