Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN or LPN to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of nursing practices across various specialties. This role is essential in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, overseeing nursing staff, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. The Nursing Supervisor will play a pivotal role in fostering a collaborative environment that promotes professional growth and exceptional patient outcomes. Responsibilities Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities to ensure optimal delivery of services. Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures in accordance with best practices and regulatory standards. Conduct regular assessments of patient care quality, identifying areas for improvement. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care plans, ensuring they meet individual needs. Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in clinical decision-making and problem-solving. Oversee the training and orientation of new nursing personnel, ensuring they are equipped with necessary skills and knowledge. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Manage staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage while considering staff well-being. Engage in performance evaluations, offering constructive feedback to promote professional development. Requirements Valid nursing license with significant clinical experience in acute care settings such as hospitals or long-term care facilities. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner; familiarity with
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding is preferred. Experience in critical care, emergency medicine, or trauma medicine is highly desirable. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices. Strong assessment skills with the ability to triage patients effectively. Familiarity with specialized treatments including botulinum toxin treatment, dialysis, or palliative care is a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patients alike. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage conflicts, and foster a positive work environment. Experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, or individuals with developmental disabilities is beneficial.
