Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week Long Term Care assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to residents, support individualized care plans, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all residents.

June 22, 2026 Requirements Active Kansas LPN license or compact state license required Current BLS certification preferred Minimum of 1 year of long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or related nursing experience preferred Strong patient assessment and documentation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Compassionate, resident-focused approach to patient care Knowledge of long-term care regulations and nursing best practices Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic interventions as prescribed Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes to the healthcare team Assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Supervise and collaborate with nursing assistants and support staff Ensure compliance with infection control procedures, safety standards, and facility policies Promote resident comfort, dignity, independence, and overall well-being Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members Support a positive and compassionate environment focused on quality resident care

$34.00 - $38.00 per hour
