The ideal candidate will have experience in various nursing practices. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality patient care while collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Duties Assist physicians with with patient examinations, rooming, vital signs, obtain medical history, and review medications as directed. Handle incoming calls from patients with medical concerns and process medication refills for non-dialysis patients. Communicate with physicians to ensure orders are followed through appropriately. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Interpret and convey physician instructions to patients clearly. Schedule and pre-certify hospital admissions, diagnostic procedures, out-patient medication orders. Experience Must hold a valid LPN license in Missouri and/or Kansas. A minimum of 1 year of patient care experience in a medical office setting is preferred. Prior experience assisting physicians with examinations is a plus. Familiarity with internal medicine practices is preferred. Demonstrated ability to work with various healthcare systems and electronic medical records. Strong clinical skills in reviewing lab results and relaying information based on physician orders. Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
