Per Diem/ PRN Shifts Available:
Monday though Friday 8 hour shift (No Weekends)
Location:
Providence Medical Center We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with expertise in wound care to become a vital part of our healthcare team. The LPN candidate will bring strong clinical skills, a deep commitment to patient well-being, and hands-on experience treating a range of wounds—including surgical incisions, diabetic ulcers, and pressure injuries. As a Wound Care LPN, you will play a key part in supporting patient recovery and promoting optimal healing outcomes. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): Conduct comprehensive assessments of wounds to determine appropriate treatment plans. Monitor wound progression, document changes, and make necessary adjustments to care plans. Collaborate with wound care specialists and physicians to optimize treatment strategies. Administer appropriate treatments, dressings, and therapeutic interventions for various wound types. Utilize evidence-based practices to ensure effective wound management. Provide clear instructions and support to ensure adherence to wound care protocols. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of wound assessments, treatment plans, and patient responses in the electronic medical record (EMR). Work closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans. Stay current with the latest wound care techniques and treatments by participating in continuing education opportunities and professional development activities. You must have:
