Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), where your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes and enhance the quality of care across diverse medical settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your clinical skills and compassionate approach to provide exceptional patient care. Whether in inpatient units, outpatient clinics, or specialized care areas, you will be a vital part of a dedicated team committed to excellence and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physiology, and anatomy evaluations to determine appropriate care plans. Administer medications, injections, and IV therapies following strict protocols and ensuring patient safety. Document all medical information accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations. Monitor patient progress, respond swiftly to changes in condition, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes. Assist with procedures in various settings such as operating rooms, emergency departments, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), or Geriatrics units. Conduct venipuncture and other invasive procedures with precision and professionalism. Ensure proper infection control practices are followed, especially in infectious disease care environments and Level I Trauma Centers. Skills Proven experience in emergency medicine, trauma centers (Level II trauma center experience preferred), or hospital medicine environments. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy essential for accurate patient assessment and documentation. Skilled in using EMR/EHR systems for efficient medical records management and documentation. Ability to perform IV insertion, venipuncture, and medication administration safely and effectively. Excellent patient care skills with a focus on compassionate communication across inpatient, outpatient, clinic, or post-acute care settings. Familiarity with urgent care procedures, Geriatrics nursing practices, or sub-acute care environments is highly desirable. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS are advantageous. $27.00 - $36.00 per hour
