Job Description
A Warren County area skilled nursing and rehabilitation center, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Admissions/Marketing Nurse to coordinate and oversee all clinical aspects of resident admissions. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth, welcoming transition for new residents and their families. Position Summary The Admissions/Marketing Nurse is responsible for coordinating the clinical admission process, conducting assessments, verifying documentation, and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate resident placement. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and complete all clinical admission assessments prior to and upon resident arrival Review hospital records, physician orders, and medication lists for accuracy and appropriateness Communicate with hospitals, case managers, families, and referral sources Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations Initiate care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team Verify insurance information and coordinate with billing as needed Participate in census development and marketing support activities Provide resident and family education during the admission process Qualifications Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience (long-term care experience preferred) Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care processes preferred Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Must be able to travel throughout the community What We Offer Competitive salary Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holiday pay 401(k) retirement plan Supportive team environment Opportunities for professional growth If you are a compassionate nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys coordinating care transitions, we would love to hear from you!
