Crown Staffing is currently hiring qualified and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for full-time positions at Western State Hospital in Hopkinsville, KY . This is an excellent opportunity to support adult psychiatric patients in a structured and rewarding healthcare environment.

Shift:

6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (12-hour day shift)

Status:

Full-Time Rotation:

Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct patient care to adult psychiatric patients, including assistance with: Bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding Personal hygiene and mobility Dispense and document medications according to physician orders and facility protocols Monitor patient behavior and physical condition; accurately document findings Take and record vital signs as part of routine care Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the care team to ensure effective treatment plans Work in various hospital units as assigned by nursing leadership

Qualifications:

Active LPN license in the state of Kentucky or a valid compact state license with multistate privileges Must be able to provide a nursing school diploma and/or official transcript Must be able to read and write in English Comfortable working in a psychiatric care setting Clean background check required

Professional Standards:

Must maintain a professional appearance Fingernails no longer than 1/4 inch Minimal jewelry; facial piercings must be removed OSHA-compliant training provided on-site Why Join Crown Staffing?
