Job Description

Licensed Practical Nurse
  • PRN Ville Platte, LA 70586 From $23 an hour
  • Part-time, Full-time, PRN From $23 an hour
  • Part-time, Full-time, PRN LPN We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with male youth in a residential psychiatric treatment setting.
This role supports the medical and mental health needs of youth while promoting safety, structure, and therapeutic care.
Responsibilities Include:
Provide nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) Assist with medication administration, monitoring, and documentation Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary team meetings Support intake, assessments, and discharge planning Respond to medical needs, emergencies, and on-call situations as required Maintain accurate nursing and incident documentation Ensure compliance with HIPAA, infection control, and safety standards Provide care with compassion, patience, and respect for youth and families
Qualifications:
High school diploma Current Louisiana LPN license (required) Experience in behavioral health, residential care, or youth services preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Compassion, flexibility, and the ability to work with troubled youth Ability to remain calm in crisis situations
Full-Time Positions Available Pay:
From $23.00 per hour
