Key Qualifications:
Valid Massachusetts LPN or RN license required School-based nursing experience is strongly preferred, with a passion for working with children and adolescents Ability and willingness to ride the bus with students as part of the nurturing and safety-focused responsibilities Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills Capacity to work independently, respond calmly in urgent situations, and maintain confidentiality
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver medical care, assessments, and interventions to students in collaboration with educational teams Support students on the bus, ensuring their safety and well-being during transport Maintain accurate health records and administer medications as prescribed Communicate effectively with families, staff, and healthcare providers regarding student needs Promote health education and support a safe, positive school environment Benefits include a consistent part-time schedule—Monday, Tuesday, and Friday—totaling 21 hours per week, with the added benefit of punctual weekly pay.
