  • 11:30 PM 40 Hours per Week Every other weekend required Rotating holidays Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in a long-term care facility.
This role focuses on delivering direct resident care in a skilled nursing environment while supervising nursing assistants and ensuring high standards of clinical care and resident safety. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently in a structured care setting, with strong medication administration, documentation, and resident care coordination skills. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents Supervise and guide nursing assistants during daily care activities Administer medications and prescribed treatments Monitor resident health status and report changes promptly Record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure Perform wound care, catheter care, tube feedings, and related procedures Assist with colostomy care, drainage systems, and other clinical needs Collect and process specimens as required Accurately transcribe and document physician orders Maintain complete and timely nursing documentation Support resident admissions, transfers, and discharges Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and care teams Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards Participate in quality initiatives and regulatory inspections Requirements Graduate of an accredited LPN program Active, unencumbered Massachusetts LPN license Current
BLS / CPR
