Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Full-Time Position Available!

North Easton Shift:

Full-time openings on all shifts, including an every other weekend rotation

Compensation:

$38 - $43 an hour, depending on the shift. Evenings, overnights, and weekends have shift differentials. Weekly pay As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of the RN and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the nursing assistant to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of the RN Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the nursing assistant Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident Maintain current resident care plans Follow physician's orders Transcribe physician's orders promptly and accurately Review patient records daily to assure accuracy and completeness Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes Visit each resident daily to evaluate resident needs Maintain accurate awareness of residents on alert list Document and report any unusual or significant findings; contact the physician when necessary Perform other duties as assigned by manager

Requirements:

Must be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program Must be CPR certified Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an LPN/LVN in this state, or be in the process of obtaining one Minimum, one (1) year experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related health care facility (new graduates welcome!) Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such actions Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
