Job Description

Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact as a dedicated LPN or RN supporting a student's learning journey. This contract opportunity involves providing 1:1 nursing care for a male out-of-district student, ensuring his safety and well-being throughout each school day—including transportation services. The assignment is planned for the remainder of the 25/26 school year, extends through the summer, and is expected to continue into the fall. The district anticipates a continued need that may carry into the 26/27 school year, offering stability and valuable experience in an educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
Active Massachusetts nursing certificate (LPN or RN required) Experience as an LPN or RN, preferably in a school or pediatric setting Strong clinical skills and comfort with providing 1:1 care Compassion, patience, and commitment to student support Ability to reliably commute and provide coverage for transportation needs
Responsibilities:
Deliver consistent 1:1 nursing support for a male student during school hours and transportation Monitor and address ongoing health needs in accordance with care plans Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and family to promote a safe environment Maintain accurate documentation and health records Communicate proactively to support student engagement and participation
Contract Details:
