Job Description

Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in a student's life by providing dedicated one-on-one nursing care in a school-based setting. In this rewarding contract role, you'll support a male student requiring medical assistance during school hours and transportation, ensuring his health and educational journey remain on track. The assignment is expected to last through the end of the 2025/2026 academic year, continue over the summer, and may extend into the following school year.
Key Qualifications:
Active Massachusetts LPN or RN license required Experience providing nursing care in a school or pediatric setting highly desired Capable of offering reliable, compassionate 1:1 support and monitoring Comfortable accompanying student on daily transportation to and from school Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators and families Organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing student needs
Position Responsibilities:
Deliver personalized, hands-on nursing care for a male student in an Out of District placement Support medical needs throughout the school day as well as during transportation Administer medication and manage any health concerns that arise Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare professionals to optimize student well-being Maintain thorough and confidential health records in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines Provide emergency care if needed and follow healthcare plan instructions Step into an assignment offering substantial impact and continuity, with approximately 40 hours per week and the potential to build a long-term relationship with your student.
