• Duties
• Review incoming referrals
• Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient intake processes
• Requirements
• Knowledge in medical terminology, and HIPAA regulations
• Strong computer skills with the ability to work with computerized systems
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills
• Prior experience in the medical field/healthcare setting
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
