Annual Budgeted Amount:
$49,024.80

Job Description Nature of Work:
Under the supervision of the appropriate School Health Nurse, this position provides one-on-one care to students with special needs in Anne Arundel County Public Schools. May require accompanying the students on the bus to and from Dunkirk, Maryland. Make nursing judgments and perform technical procedures within the scope of his/her practice/licensure to meet the health needs of students. Responsibilities may also include a variety of health tasks and clerical work to assist students with special health requirements, including lifting, positioning, transferring, and assisting with bodily functions. Orientation and training are provided.
Minimum Qualifications License or Certification:
Must possess a current license as a Practical Nurse from the Maryland Board of Nursing. Driver's License required. How to Apply Applicants who meet the minimum qualifications can apply.
