INDNURSING

• Responsibilities:

• Under the direct supervision of the RN, assist in care planning and treatments for residents and consult with other nursing staff as needed.
• Demonstrate the basic knowledge and skills required to care for the assigned patient population.
• Review patient medical records to ensure that nursing practices are within state and federal guidelines.
• Document care provided and report any changes in patient status to the shift supervisor.
• Review all referrals for consultation and treatment to ensure they are valid and applicable to the documented nursing plans.
• Seek opportunities for professional growth and take on additional responsibilities to maintain competency levels.
• Set and implement goals and policies consistent with the philosophy and purpose of Miss Bright Homecare.

• Qualifications:

• Must hold an active LPN license issued in the state of Maryland.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.
• A team player with a strong work ethic and a willingness to assist where needed.
• Must possess a current CPR certification.
• Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal communication with all personnel, residents, and families.
