Schedule:
Weekdays Only (No Holidays) Position Overview We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to support patient care services at Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command England (NMRTCNE) and associated clinics. This role provides a structured weekday schedule, strong work-life balance, and the opportunity to serve military members and their families. Schedule & Work Hours Monday - Friday only Day shift hours: Between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM Shift length: 8.5-9 hours (includes unpaid meal break) Max hours: 80 hours per 2-week period Schedule provided: 1 month in advance No weekends or federal holidays required Recognized federal holidays off (e.g., Thanksgiving, Christmas, Independence Day) Key Responsibilities Deliver hands-on nursing care to diverse patient populations Administer medications and treatments per established protocols Monitor patient conditions and document care accurately Assist with diagnostic procedures and specialized treatments Respond to urgent/emergency situations appropriately Educate patients and families on care plans Support clinical operations and collaborate with healthcare teams
Minimum Qualifications Education:
Graduate of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of LPN/LVN experience post-graduation
License:
Current, full, active, and unrestricted LPN/LVN license
Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
Citizenship:
Must be a U.S. Citizen Additional Requirements Ability to work at multiple clinics within a 40-mile radius (advance notice provided) Strong attention to detail and patient safety Proficiency with electronic medical records systems Ability to follow military and federal healthcare protocols Why Join Us?
