Job Description

Overview Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long-Term Care, Lewiston, Maine. This travel assignment starts 06/29/2026 and runs for 13 weeks on a 3x12 Nights schedule (7:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m.). Weekly pay ranges from $1,642 to $1,741, with no guaranteed hours. The role is in a hospital setting providing care across long-term care and rehabilitation units for residents needing ongoing or short-term support. This is a travel - temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Orientation:
Up to 16 hours unpaid Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments per the resident care plan, including wound care as needed and IV therapy if trained. Monitor resident status, document assessments and interventions, and communicate changes to the care team. Provide direct and indirect nursing care, assist with activities of daily living, safety, and infection-control practices. Collaborate with residents, families, and a multidisciplinary team to support therapeutic goals and discharge planning as appropriate. Participate in ongoing geriatric assessments and adapt care to residents with Alzheimer's/dementia and other chronic conditions. Be flexible to float to other units within the unit-based hospital environment as needed and support a team-oriented workflow. Requirements Active Maine State Board or compact Licensed Practical Nurse license
Education:
Associate degree in Nursing or graduate of a Maine State Board-approved LPN program
Experience:
1-3 years of prior RN/LPN experience preferred
Skills:
