Give us a chance you won't be disappointed that you made the decision to join our team! •A Nurse's daily responsibilities will be to evaluate assigned patients within one of our Skilled Nursing Facilities. Our nurses direct the CENAs in their daily care of residents. Their role will be to maintain patient comfort and safety. They'll also need to follow all departmental policies and procedures as well as safety, environmental, and infection control standards. They'll represent the facility with integrity, free of gifts or improper inducements. An LPN adheres to the facility's Core Values and mission with complete regard for the dignity of each person. Licensed Practical Nurse Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Providing great patient care. Establishing a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients & families Identifying patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements Administering medications and other treatments Assisting physicians during examinations & procedures Answering patient calls and determining how best to help them. Promoting patient's independence by establishing, implementing, and directing care goals Resolving patient concerns and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies Ensuring patients or residents receive appropriate diet by reviewing their dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences. Obtaining a wide range of information from physicians and caregivers about patient conditions, treatment plans, and suggested activities. Examining patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine. Noting observations of patient behavior, including complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses. Stay up to date on Nurse training & education and facility policy and procedure. Other duties as assigned.

Nurse Requirements:

State Licensed Practical Nursing License Current CPR (American Heart Association).

COVID-19

vaccinated or exempt Ability to think and work independently and with direction, and communicate with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment. Valid identification. Comfortable using a computer.

Experience:

Prior experience in long term care is preferred. Prior experience with Infection Control is preferred. #WWH
