Job Description

Per Diem LPN Schedule :
No scheduling mandation Work an average of three (3) shifts per calendar month. Regular weekend coverage is expected. Must be available to work a minimum of two (2) holidays per year.
Shift Premiums:
Beginning 2:30 pm
  • 10:30 pm, $1:90 | Beginning 10:31 pm
  • 7 am, $1.35 | Weekend Fri, 10:31 pm

This Role:
At Kresge, our staff provides a unique and personal experience to each of our residents, while focusing on quality, treatment and comfort. Department Kresge Nursing & Rehabilitation Employment Type Flexible Location Chelsea, MI Workplace type Onsite Key Responsibilities Deliver Direct Nursing Care
  • Administer medications, perform treatments, monitor vital signs and wound care. Conduct Health Assessments
  • Evaluate residents and report changes in condition to the clinical team. Monitor and Adjust Care Plans
  • Observe residents for adverse reactions or side effects and update care plans accordingly. Coordinate Interdisciplinary Care
  • Work with teams to enhance residents' quality of life. Supervise and Mentor Staff
  • Oversee nursing assistants and support staff, providing guidance and mentorship. Document Resident Care
  • Complete daily and monthly records accurately, reflecting care provided and resident responses. Manage Admissions and Discharges
  • Perform admission and discharge procedures as directed. Maintain Medical Records
  • Keep accurate, up-to-date records in compliance with policies and regulations. Ensure Safety and Infection Control
  • Follow all protocols to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff. Prevent Spread of Illness
  • Adhere to proper infection control procedures at all times. Engage in Ongoing Education
  • Maintain certifications and stay current with best practices.

CPR certification required or willing to obtain upon hire. Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with the frail and elderly. Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to a minimum of 50 lbs. Tasks involving more than 50 lbs. require assistance or assistive equipment for safe performance.
