Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and physical examinations to ensure accurate health evaluations. Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and other treatments following established protocols and safety standards. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for precise documentation of patient care activities. Assist with diagnostic evaluations including specimen collection, processing, and interpretation of results. Manage airway support including ventilator management and oxygen therapy in accordance with patient needs. Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments in memory or assisted living settings. Coordinate discharge planning, case management, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Requirements Valid LPN or RN license in good standing; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are preferred. Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, neonatal or neonatal ventilator care, and individuals with disabilities. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth or similar platforms for accurate medical documentation. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Experience in acute care environments such as hospital medicine, ICU (Intensive Care Unit), emergency room settings or trauma centers is highly desirable. Ability to perform venipuncture, catheterization, sterile techniques including suturing and spinal taps when necessary. Excellent patient assessment skills along with the ability to work effectively within a team dedicated to exceptional patient care.
