Position Type:

Part-Time | Hourly Wellspring Lutheran Services is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to serving seniors, families and children throughout Michigan. We are currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Covenant Skilled Nursing and Rehab at Wellspring team in Saginaw. Responsibilities Provide quality nursing care to residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity, freedom of choice and individuality. Perform all responsibilities according to prescribed safety and infection control procedures including hand washing, glove use and proper disposal of materials. Make daily resident visits to observe and evaluate physical and emotional status. Receive report from the off-going nurse and provide report to the on-coming nurse. Give report to the medical team for the shift. Report changes of condition, abnormal lab results, concerns and new admissions to the physician. Report changes of condition, abnormal labs and injury-related falls to the physician and responsible party. Receive, implement and document new physician orders and update resident care plans. Administer medications timely and follow stop-order procedures according to policy. Qualifications Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing with the State of Michigan (required). Successful completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program (required). Two years of nursing experience in short-term or long-term care, home health, medical, surgical or critical care (preferred). Compassionate, dependable and team-oriented.

Self-scheduling Weekends and holidays: Every third weekend and every third holiday

Pay Rate:
