The licensed nurse will interact directly with patients, providing assistance and clinical care to the patients, as well as working very closely with the attending psychiatrist or psychiatric prescribers on duty. This position will include working with the administrative support team, ensuring that the unique needs of our patients are met on a daily basis as well. We are searching for a dedicated, compassionate and energetic individual who has a strong desire to work with mental health patients and collaborate with a care team. A licensed nurse is a vital part of our care team. Some of the duties expected include but are not limited to: Help patients with mental health care needs and administer medications/injections. Manage patient samples Must be familiar with Anti-psychotic long-acting injectable medications and how to administer them. Must be comfortable meeting with pharmaceutical reps and discussing new and innovative treatment options and interventions for mental health population. Excellent communication skills with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapist staff, and support staff personnel. Oversee and manage clients with needs as it relates to ensuring that patients conduct and complete labs, group home patient needs, or patients that require extra attention and oversight, such as those with TBI, geriatric, etc... Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures, and abide by all federal, state and local requirements.
