Role:
SEEKING AFTERNOON/ NIGHTS 7P-7A
(12 HOURS SHIFTS)FULL TIME AND PART TIME AVAILABLE AFTERNOON/ NIGHT SHIFT
: As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Pine Creek Manor, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a supportive and compassionate environment. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the daily care of residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to established healthcare protocols. You will collaborate closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. This position requires a strong commitment to patient advocacy and the ability to communicate effectively with both residents and their families. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to enhancing the quality of life for our residents and fostering a positive community atmosphere.Minimum Qualifications:
Current LPN license in the state of PSV. Completion of an accredited practical nursing program. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing. Certification in IV therapy. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor and record patients' vital signs and health status. Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and report any changes in residents' conditions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.Skills:
The required skills for this position include strong clinical assessment abilities, which will be utilized daily to monitor residents' health and respond to their needs promptly. Effective communication skills are essential for collaborating with the healthcare team and providing clear updates to families about their loved ones' conditions. Time management skills will help you prioritize tasks and ensure that all residents receive timely care throughout your shift. Additionally, empathy and compassion are vital in building trusting relationships with residents, enhancing their overall experience.
