    $31.50
  • $35.10 for LPNs depending on experience Monday

Requirement:
This position requires a graduate of an approved school of nursing and must be currently licensed as an LPN in the state of Minnesota.
LPN Responsibilities:
This position is accountable for coordinating resident care and required documentation according to established policies, procedures, and standard of practice. May assume some responsibility in directing personnel. Must foster teamwork and contribute to the facility goals and mission. The LPN Nurse will also ensure that services follow current regulations and standards. Must be able to relate professionally with clients, staff and family members, display a positive work attitude and be able to work as a team with other staff members. This position requires a graduate of an approved school of nursing and must be currently licensed as an LPN in the state of Minnesota. Certificate in CPR and Heimlich is required. Experience in medical, surgical, mental health, or geriatric nursing is preferred and requires an understanding of the fundamentals of nursing practice and the ability to apply them to the geriatric setting. A willingness to perform direct care activities is necessary. Patience, tact, respect, courtesy, and kindness are required when dealing with residents, visitors, and other staff, as well as the ability to treat patients' information confidentially.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Graduate from a school of nursing. Must be registered and licensed with the State of Minnesota as a Licensed Practical Nurse and must maintain current unencumbered license with the Board of Nursing; Experience in working with older adults. Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home or home care agency preferred; Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently; Ability to use computers and electronic records; The ability to deal tactfully and use good communication and customer service skills with clients and their families; and Ability to demonstrate good judgment and observation skills.
