Clarus Dermatology is a patient-focused dermatology practice located in Spicer, MN. We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our dedicated team and to work side-by-side with our skilled Physician Assistant. If you are a detail-oriented, hardworking professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, you'll fit right in. No problem. We love to teach and will provide full training for the right candidate.
What We're Looking For:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication abilities. A keen attention to detail. Flexibility and adaptability in a small, team-oriented practice. A passion for learning and professional development. Our practice operates Monday through Friday, with patient appointments scheduled from 7:30 AM to 3:40 PM (no late nights or weekends!). Core Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): Dermatology experience is a plus, but we are happy to provide training. Ability to scribe and document as needed. Strong attention to detail and a quick learner. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Quick learner. Reliable attendance and punctuality is a must. Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) is a bonus, but not required. A self-motivated and driven mindset. Tech Savvy. Adaptable.
Position Details:
Full-time, Monday through Friday.
Required certifications:
CMA, CPR, or a commitment to obtain CMA certification within one year of hire. Competitive pay, 401(k) plan, health insurance, bonus opportunities, and employee discounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide medical and administrative support, including managing patient records and scheduling. Perform patient intake assessments and assist with procedures alongside the Physician Assistant. Utilize EHR systems to document patient interactions and maintain accurate medical histories. Review the After Visit Summary with patients, assist with sales, schedule follow up appointments and ensure excellent patient experiences. Help achieve clinic sales objectives. Manage appointment schedules, including nurse and Physician Assistant schedules, and coordinate follow-up appointments. Maintain compliance with CPR certification, HIPAA regulations, and stocking requirements. Support the Physician Assistant during procedures and assist as a scribe, if needed (training provided).
