Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Position Overview:
AMA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing clinical team. This is a unique clinical LPN opportunity supporting Nurse Practitioners and Physicians within the skilled nursing facilities we partner with. Unlike traditional floor nursing roles, this position does not include floor assignments, medication passes, or standard nursing home duties. Instead, you will work directly alongside Providers, assisting with clinical rounding, patient assessments, treatment coordination, and documentation. We currently support multiple facilities and locations, offering a dynamic and collaborative healthcare environment.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM No weekends No on-call requirements No traditional nursing home floor duties
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct patient assessments and follow Provider directives and clinical protocols Support Physicians and Nurse Practitioners during clinical rounds and treatment activities Gather and communicate patient information from caregivers, nursing staff, and Providers Review patient charts, physician orders, and treatment plans Complete accurate documentation in eCW and PCC systems Respond appropriately to urgent or emergency situations as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient care
Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting Experience in skilled nursing or behavioral health preferred, but not required This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN seeking a more clinical, provider-focused role with a consistent weekday schedule and strong work-life balance.
