  • Day Shift Arrington Living center is looking for a full time, Licensed Practical Nurse for our program.
A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing basic medical attention to patients and assessing their wellbeing as part of a larger medical team. Their duties include checking vital signs, recording a patient's medical history and assisting patients with hygiene. Prior nursing home experience preferred.
Position:
Full Time 12 hours rotating schedule. 401(A); Dental, Health, Vision + Life Insurance; PTO/STO; Short Term/Long Term Disability; Current License as a licensed LPN from MS State Board of Nursing. Must have CPR Current license with the MS State Board of Nursing Skills and qualifications that include: Strong communication Good time management and organization Problem-solving skills Ability to lift and move patients Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills Extensive knowledge of basic health care procedures Knowledge in measuring and administering medication Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
