About Us:

Senatobia Healthcare & Rehab has been owned and operated since 1978 by the same founding family members. The facility offers short term rehabilitation services including physical, speech and occupational therapy, as well as long term skilled care for those that might need that service. This is accomplished in a comfortable, homelike environment where our residents, families and staff are able to experience a family type atmosphere. Senatobia Healthcare & Rehab is currently recruiting for a licensed nurse for medication administration and unit charge responsibility at our long term care facility in Senatobia, Mississippi.

Description of duties:

• Medication Administration
• Monitoring patients and completing ongoing assessments of their physical and mental health
• Administering medications and injections and keeping complete records of these activities
• Communicating with patients' families about condition of the patient and their care
• Updating patient charts and recording observations of their condition
• Communicating concerns about patient's overall health, treatment, etc. to the medical team
• CNA oversight
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Must have a valid State of Mississippi Nursing License
• Must pass a criminal background check required by the licensing agency
• Long term care experience preferred but not required
• One year experience as a Registered Nurse/Licensed Nurse is preferred but not required
• Must have valid CPR
• Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) is preferred but not required This is a process-oriented organization.
