Description Staff Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Summary The Clinic LPN is responsible for the professional nursing care of all assigned patients in accordance with established standards of care and within the scope of the current Nurse Practice Act. The LPN is responsible for meeting the physical, psychosocial, spiritual and emotional needs of the patients assigned to her care. The LPN collaborates, delegates, and coordinates with Clinic staff and physicians, as well as other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care. The LPN maintains the safety, dignity, and privacy of the patient at all times. The LPN participates in the Performance Improvement activities of the clinic that demonstrate positive patient outcomes. The LPN supports the mission of OCH Regional Medical Clinic. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing and current LPN licensure by the Mississippi Board of Nursing Ability to pass competencies for the Staff LPN including a satisfactory orientation period Proficient oral and written communication skills Proficient interpersonal skills Maintains CPR certification Lines of Responsibility The Staff LPN is responsible to the Physician

The Staff LPN supervises the work of Aides/Techs, and Environmental Services.
