Job Description

$10,000 SIgn On Bonus $30 to $38 dollars per hour based on expereince. Day shifts available 6a to 6p or night shifts avaiable 6p to 6a or PRN If you are compassionate and love to take care of people, then we invite you to consider Park Place Transtional Care as your new employer. We are needing LPNs for all hours, full and part-time positions available! We are offering competitive wages and we welcome multi state licensees, new graduates as well as seasoned nurses! This position to ensure that quality care is delivered through monitoring of staff performance, physician contact, care planning and daily resident observation. This position also provides direct care to residents. All this is done according to nursing standards of practice, standard procedures, and established State and Federal regulations for skilled nursing facilities.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
Graduate of an approved school of licensed practical/vocational nursing. Current license, in good standing, as an LPN/LVN in the State or Montana or Compact State Devotion to standards and principles of professional nursing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist routine daily direction and monitor the work of the nursing assistants on the unit, assuring a high standard of nursing care and satisfactory completion of tasks. Follows company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction. Communicate on a regular basis with the Nurse Manager or Director of Nursing regarding observations, and suggestions of problem areas, resident and employee activities, concerns, needs, conditions, etc. Documents any change in patient's conditions including but not limited to nutritional problems, infections, skin conditions, weight loss or any other noticeable changes. Participate in report at the beginning and end of shifts to assure proper information about residents is communicated. Document and notify applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges. Assist in the admission, orientation, and observation of new residents, assure that physician orders for diets, therapy, medication, etc. are transcribed and communicated according to procedure.
