Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Pediatrics team in Great Falls, MT. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients while working closely with providers, nurses, clinical staff, and families to ensure excellent patient outcomes. The LPN serves as a key liaison between patients, providers, and clinic staff, delivering patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient pediatric setting.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients following established standards and practices. Obtain and document vital signs and patient information. Triage patient phone calls and communicate concerns to providers. Process prescription refill requests and medication-related documentation. Complete prior authorizations and coordinate patient care needs. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care. Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, CNAs, schedulers, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate and timely patient records. Support clinic operations and contribute to a positive team environment. Provide guidance and direction to CNAs and scheduling staff as needed.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or eligibility for state licensure upon acceptance. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Knowledge of nursing principles, patient care standards, and clinical procedures. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous pediatric or outpatient clinic experience preferred. Experience with patient triage, prescription management, and electronic medical records.
Pay:
$23.56 - $37.50 per hour
