Job Description

Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring a Practice Nurse LPN or CMA to join the Practice Management team at Sampson Medical Group!
Description:
The selected candidate will assist in the management of patient care provided in the practice, coordinate patient flow and ensures care is delivered safely, effectively and efficiently. Additional responsibilities include interviews patients and takes medical history, gives injections, completed lab and x-ray requests, keeps charts current and screens calls within the practice/provider's guidelines, administers prescribed medications, perform simple treatment as directed by the provider, and work with services provided through Occupational Medicine for the contracted employers in the community.
Requirements:
Currently licensed by the Board of Nursing to practice nursing as an LPN in the state of North Carolina or registered as a Certified Medical Assistant by the American Association of Medical Assistants Previous physician office or healthcare setting desired Must demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of Electronic Medical Record documentation in accordance with Meaningful Use objectives Competent in EKG testing, blood draws and injections Current BLS certification required, ACLS preferred Ability to maintain the strictest patient confidentiality Ability to handle multiple priorities at once with minimal supervision
Hours:
This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Other hours may be required for the effective operation of the practice. Your Health, Our Passion!
