Job Description
Position Summary The PRN Care Staff provides high‑quality, person‑centered support to residents in a senior living community on an as‑needed basis. This role fills staffing gaps due to call‑outs, vacations, or increased resident needs. The PRN team member ensures residents receive compassionate assistance with daily living, safety monitoring, and emotional support while maintaining the facility's standards of care. Key Responsibilities Provide direct resident care , including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and meals. Support residents with ADLs and IADLs according to individualized care plans. Monitor resident well‑being , promptly reporting changes in condition to supervisory staff. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, observations, and resident interactions. Assist with housekeeping tasks such as bed‑making, tidying rooms, and laundry as needed. Promote a safe environment , following infection control, fall prevention, and emergency procedures. Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide companionship to support emotional well‑being. Collaborate with the care team to ensure continuity and quality of care. Uphold resident dignity, privacy, and rights at all times. Respond to call lights and resident needs promptly and professionally. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. CNA certification preferred (or required depending on state regulations). Experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, or home care strongly preferred. Ability to work flexible, on‑call hours including weekends and holidays. Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient‑centered approach. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and assist with resident transfers. Must pass background check, drug screening, and meet all state regulatory requirements. Pay:
