Job Description
RN (Registered Nurse) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Wellness Clinic Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our wellness team. This role involves performing venipuncture for laboratory testing, administering vitamin infusions and injections, providing patient education on wellness services and healthy lifestyle practices, and assisting with front desk operations temporarily. The ideal candidate is professional, customer-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a wellness-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Clinical Duties Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens accurately and safely for laboratory testing. Administer intramuscular, subcutaneous, and intravenous vitamin injections and infusions according to established protocols and provider orders. Monitor patients during and after treatments, documenting observations and reporting any adverse reactions. Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation in the electronic medical record system. Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and HIPAA regulations. Prepare treatment rooms, supplies, and equipment for patient appointments. Patient Education & Wellness Support Educate patients on wellness therapies, vitamin supplementation, hydration treatments, and healthy lifestyle practices. Answer patient questions regarding treatment plans, expected outcomes, and post-treatment care. Promote a positive patient experience through compassionate communication and personalized care. Administrative & Front Desk Support Assist with patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and check-in/check-out procedures as needed. Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide information about clinic services. Process payments and assist with maintaining organized patient records. Support daily clinic operations and collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow. Qualifications Current LPN or RN license in good standing. Experience with venipuncture and specimen collection required. IV therapy and infusion experience preferred. Strong communication and patient education skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer applications. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Previous experience in wellness, functional medicine, aesthetics, or outpatient clinical settings is a plus.
