About the role CBH of NC is looking for a reliable and qualified LPN's (Licensed Practical Nurse) to care for individuals at the Rowan County Detention Center. What you'll do Provide direct patient care to inmates Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) Collect vital signs, lab specimens, and patient health data Support sick call and assist providers with procedures Administer medications and maintain accurate MAR documentation Monitor patient conditions and report changes Conduct rounds and document patient progress Follow infection control and safety protocols Maintain medication security, including narcotics accountability Assist with patient transfers and required reporting Qualifications Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state Strong understanding of nursing care principles Ability to recognize signs of mental illness, emotional disturbances, or substance dependency Proficient in phlebotomy and administering PPD tests
