Job Description:
Provides nursing care to patients defined by the unit's scope of care. Under the direction of the RN, collaborates with physicians, the patient and family, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to meet each patient's individualized needs.
Education Qualifications:
This position requires the ability to work the following schedule: 24 hours per week 8 and/or 12 hour shifts with various start times, depending on unit need. Every other weekend and participation in a holiday rotation
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
LPN Degree/Diploma Current Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in the state of employment Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification or obtained within 3 months of employment Must have completed IV medication courses through LPN curriculum or be IV certified Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 1 year of employment . •Essentia Health is an integrated health system serving patients in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota.
