Job Description
Where You'll Work CHI St. Alexius Health Williston, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, has been proudly serving our community since 1920. CHI St. Alexius Health Williston proudly provides primary care, specialty care, family medicine, 3D mammography, orthopedics, neurology, and several other health services to our Williston community. Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Clinic LPN, you will work with the RN and provider to utilize the nursing process to identify patient needs and priorities of care through assessment and planning of care based on delegated tasks, patient needs, therapeutic interventions, and evaluation of the patient's response. You are held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization.
Every day, you will apply your nursing skills to provide direct patient care, meticulously documenting observations, administering medications, and assisting with procedures. You will be a crucial support to the healthcare team, ensuring that patient care is delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with established standards and organizational values.
To be successful in your role, you will meticulously apply the nursing process to identify patient needs and priorities, collaborating effectively with the RN and provider to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate delegated tasks and therapeutic interventions. You will demonstrate exceptional adherence to departmental and organizational policies and procedures, consistently demonstrating accountability in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring optimal patient responses to treatment. Assist RN and healthcare providers with examinations, treatments, special tests, and routine procedures Perform/record vital signs, CPR, apply oxygen delivering systems, perform simple wound irrigation/direct pressure/dressings, Prepare sterile field for Suturing, Assist provider with treatment when appropriate, Apply restraints, clean medical equipment and prepare for sterilization, collect urine specimens, and phlebotomy Provides patient and family education Job Requirements Required Other Graduate of an accredited college or technical school for Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) and
