1 Description American Traveler is seeking a travel LPN/LVN with 2+ years of experience and IV therapy certification for a night shift position in a long-term care/skilled nursing facility setting. Details Long-term care/skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) setting with post-acute care focus Patient population includes individuals with dementia, diabetes, hypertension, chronic kidney disease, fall risk, and ADL assistance needs Average nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:22 across units of 20-22 beds Charting via Point Click Care (PCC) Night shift position working a mix of 8- and 12-hour shifts for a total of 40 hours per week Primary schedule runs Thursday through Sunday, with occasional shifts moved to Monday through Wednesday as needed Every other weekend required Every other holiday required 8-week assignment Requirements Current LPN/LVN license required if applicable — must be active and non-pending at time of consideration Minimum 2 years of LPN/LVN experience required — no exceptions Current BLS certification required (copies of active certifications required; pending certifications not accepted) IV Therapy (IV-C) certification required for LPNs PCC (Point Click Care) experience preferred Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire Valid driver's license required Nursys verification required Additional Information Orientation consists of 1-2 on-site shifts Local candidates residing within 80 miles of the facility are accepted at a local pay rate 1-2 shift on-site orientation provided prior to independent practice
