This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to provide compassionate patient care in a family clinic. You will play a vital role in supporting clinical operations, ensuring accurate documentation, and delivering exceptional service to patients of all ages. This position allows you to apply your skills in a fast-paced, rewarding environment dedicated to improving health outcomes. Duties Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, vital signs, and current medications to ensure comprehensive records. Support physicians and healthcare providers during examinations and procedures, including dermatology treatments, X-ray procedures, and surgical interventions. Administer medications and injections following established protocols while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Operate and troubleshoot EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems for accurate documentation of patient encounters, diagnoses (ICD coding), and treatment plans. Conduct basic physiology assessments and monitor patient vital signs to identify urgent health concerns promptly. Support medical administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and patient education to enhance overall service experience. Skills Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and medication administration protocols. Excellent patient service skills with a focus on compassionate communication and attention to detail during intake and vital sign collection. Proficiency with EHR systems for accurate charting and documentation of patient information. Knowledge of urgent care protocols and experience supporting inpatient or outpatient care across diverse specialties including geriatrics and internal medicine. Basic life support (BLS) certification is required; additional certifications such as hospital experience or OR experience are advantageous. Join us in making a difference every day!
