Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary:

Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position in New Hampshire providing advanced nursing care services for patients with acute and chronic medical conditions in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Coronary Care Unit (CCU), and other critical care settings. Responsibilities include assessing and monitoring patient conditions, administering medications and treatments, supporting advanced patient care procedures, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate clinical documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care services to patients in ICU, CCU, and other critical care settings Assess, monitor, and evaluate patients' health status and response to treatment Administer medications, IV therapy, treatments, and nursing interventions as ordered Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot patient care equipment and monitoring devices Perform clinical procedures including specimen collection, wound care, and patient assessments Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient care plans Respond rapidly to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition Maintain accurate patient records, medication administration records, treatment documentation, and clinical charting

Requirements:

Graduation from an approved Nursing Program. License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s)

Required:

Licensed by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (American Heart Association) within 3 months of hire for critical care areas Additional specialty certifications may be required based on department assignment How to
