POSITION SUMMARY
Experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides skilled nursing care under RN supervision, exercising clinical judgment, implementing care plans, administering treatments, and supervising unlicensed staff in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act.
Hourly Pay:
$55/ Hour
  • KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct focused patient assessments and report significant condition changes
  • Implement and evaluate nursing interventions
  • Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered
  • Document care accurately in PointClickCare (PCC)
  • Communicate pertinent clinical information to RNs, physicians, and care team members
  • Support discharge planning and patient/family education
  • Delegate and supervise unlicensed staff per policy and regulation
  • Maintain medication security, including controlled substance counts
  • Participate in shift handoff and interdisciplinary coordination
  • Adhere to safety, infection control, HIPAA, and regulatory standards
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 1.
Graduate of an approved practical or vocational nursing program 2. Current LPN license issued by the State Board of Nursing 3. Experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing preferred 4. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to ensure patient safety 5. Verification of TST (tuberculin skin test) as required by state law and company policy 6. Current BLS/CPR certification (required for SNFs and Behavioral Centers; ALFs/ILFs per state regulation)
