Experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides skilled nursing care under RN supervision, exercising clinical judgment, implementing care plans, administering treatments, and supervising unlicensed staff in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act.Hourly Pay:
$55/ HourKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct focused patient assessments and report significant condition changes
- Implement and evaluate nursing interventions
- Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered
- Document care accurately in PointClickCare (PCC)
- Communicate pertinent clinical information to RNs, physicians, and care team members
- Support discharge planning and patient/family education
- Delegate and supervise unlicensed staff per policy and regulation
- Maintain medication security, including controlled substance counts
- Participate in shift handoff and interdisciplinary coordination
- Adhere to safety, infection control, HIPAA, and regulatory standards
