Job Description

MeCare Staffing is seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team in New Hampshire. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in supporting residents' daily needs, ensuring their comfort, and enhancing their quality of life in Long‑Term Care and Assisted Living facilities. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside a supportive healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver patient‑centered care while respecting rights, privacy, and cultural beliefs. Assess, plan, and implement age‑specific care tailored to residents. Safely administer medications and treatments under established protocols. Confirm patient identity using two identifiers to ensure accurate care. Monitor patient needs, document progress, and report changes promptly. Assist with personal care, medical procedures, and respond to emergencies. Educate patients and families about treatments and ongoing care. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. Collaborate with healthcare teams to achieve patient care goals. Adhere to infection control protocols, universal precautions, and safety measures. Observe and document patient responses to treatments, adjusting care plans as needed. Provide compassionate end‑of‑life and continuing care support. Perform additional duties as assigned, within scope of licensure and competency.
Qualifications:
Active LPN license in NH or compact license At least 6 months of LPN experience IV certified Proficient/Experience in navigating PointClickCare (PCC) Active BLS/CPR certification Strong commitment to quality care and passion for elder care Previous LTC/Assisted Living experience preferred Why Join Us?
