Job Description

Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract An opportunity awaits for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) interested in supporting students in an educational environment. This contract position is located near Salem, NH and is available for the upcoming 26/27 school year. Working within a year-round school setting, you will have the chance to make a real difference by providing essential care and companionship to a student with medical and mobility needs. This is a part-time role, with approximately 20 hours per week.
Key Requirements:
Current LPN or LVN license in good standing Experience working in a school setting preferred Comfortable providing care for students with significant medical or mobility needs Strong communication and observational skills Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team CPR certification required
Core Responsibilities:
Accompany a student to and from out-of-district schools in a van (transportation is provided) Provide vigilant oversight and medical care as needed throughout transit Offer assistance with the student's mobility challenges and comfort during the ride Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided Communicate with school staff, healthcare professionals, and family members as needed In this role, you'll be a vital source of support for a student, ensuring their safe transportation and well-being each day.
