Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Take your healthcare expertise into an educational setting with an impactful opportunity supporting students for Extended School Year (ESY) 2026. We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to provide care in a nurturing school environment just outside of Salem, NH. This rewarding contract position spans ESY dates from July 7th to July 30th, 2026, offering a part-time schedule of three mornings per week from 8:30 to 11:30 AM. Your knowledge as an LNA, LPN, LVN, or Certified Nurse Assistant will ensure every student receives supportive, responsive care while attending their ESY program.
Key Qualifications:
Active LNA, LPN, LVN, or CNA certification required Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred Strong communication and organization skills Ability to collaborate well with educational staff and healthcare professionals Compassion and patience in working with children of diverse needs
Role Responsibilities:
Providing routine and emergency medical care as directed Administering prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with IEPs or care plans Monitoring students' health status and documenting observations Supporting student safety, including assistance with activities of daily living when needed Communicating concerns promptly with relevant staff and guardians Maintaining confidentiality and upholding school and state healthcare policies This opportunity offers meaningful daytime hours, allowing you to enjoy your summer afternoons while making a vital impact in young lives.
