Licensed Practical Nurse

Denville Pediatrics is looking for a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The LPN promotes and restores patient's health by completing the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families, and supervising assigned teams. Applicants must be available for one evening a week and one Saturday a month. The job responsibilities are (but not limited to): Obtain vital signs Perform medical treatments as requested by the medical provider Vaccine administration Enter patient information into the electronic health record Triage patient phone calls and give medical advice Care for ill, injured, or convalescing patients Supervise nursing assistants and aids Provides basic patient care and treatment Collaborate with registered nurses to administer prescribed medications
