Duties and Responsibilities:

Deliver routine and emergency nursing care to students, adhering to school health protocols and state regulations Administer prescribed medications and perform treatments as ordered by physicians Assess student ailments, provide first aid, and document findings and interventions accurately Manage and maintain student health records with professionalism and confidentiality Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to develop care plans for students with chronic conditions or special medical needs Participate in health screenings, immunization tracking, and public health initiatives within the school Educate students and staff on health practices, hygiene, and disease prevention

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Current, active LPN or LVN license in the state of New Jersey Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure or in emergencies CPR and First Aid certification required Proficient in maintaining accurate health records and adhering to privacy laws Enjoy the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students' health and academic success in a welcoming school community.
